Mumbai: After India’s historic win in the Women’s World Cup 2025, vice-captain Smriti Mandhana’s beau, music composer-director Palash Muchhal congratulated her, dedicating a ‘SM18’ tattoo.
In the congratulatory post, Muchhal was seen holding the trophy with “SM18” inked on his arm, representing Smriti’s initials and her jersey number, while the vice-captain was beaming with pride.
He captioned the post as, “Sabse aage hai hum Hindustani.”
Palash’s heart-warming post instantly went viral and fans called the couple “a perfect blend of art and sport.”
One fan commented, “Men hyping their women is the best genre.”
Another wrote, “The tattoo, the man, and the trophy – she got everything!”

Another commented, “SM18….that steal my heart….”

The couple have been dating for a while and are reportedly planning to exchange the wedding vows on November 20.
However, an official confirmation is still awaited.
Hinting at their relationship during India’s World Cup match against England in Indore, Palash said at the State Press Club earlier this year, “She will soon become the daughter-in-law of Indore. That’s all I want to say. I’ve given you the headline.”
