Lucknow: Two youths who found an ingenious way to smuggle gold into India were arrested at Lucknow Airport. The youths had smuggled the gold worth Rs 1 crore 19 lakh into India by taping it to their feet.
The youths had arrived from Dubai.
Last week, the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) unit intercepted seven passengers who had arrived on different flights at the Kochi airport in Kerala and seized 6.2 kg of gold in compound form from their possession.
