Snana Yatra: Sec 144 Clamped Near Baladev Jew Temple In Odisha’s Kendrapara From Tonight

Kendrapada: The Kendrapara district administration has imposed Section 144 around the Baladev Jew temple at Ichhapur from the midnight of Thursday for the Snana Yatra scheduled on Friday.

The district sub-collector has said that the prohibitory order will remain in force from the midnight till the rituals of the deities are completed.

He said the administration has taken the decision to avoid large congregation of the devotees as part of the guidelines of the COVID-19 pandemic in the district. Every year, thousands of people visit the temple to witness the Snana Yatra.
