Bhubaneswar: Voice of SOA Community 90.4, the community radio station of Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (SOA), has been going strong for over a decade.

On Sunday, SOA Community radio — which has won national level laurels for its programmes – celebrated 11 years of broadcasting.

SOA Vice-Chancellor Prof. Pradipta Kumar Nanda thanked the hosts, announcers and DJs of the radio station and urged them to keep up the excellent work at a programme organised in the university to mark the day.

“Radio continues to play an important role in the society,” he said.

The programme was attended by the university’s Controller of Examination Prof. Manjula Das, Dean (Students’ Welfare) Prof. Jyoti Ranjan Das and Working Editor of News7 TV channel Deba Narayan Sethi.

Honey Patnaik, Director of Voice of SOA Community 90.4, was present at the programme, which was conducted by Subhrasima Mohanty, Programme Coordinator.

Those who planned and broadcast programmes of different categories and were part of the programmes were felicitated on the occasion.
