SOA In Bhubaneswar Adjudged ‘Most Revered University In Eastern India’

Bhubaneswar: The Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (SOA) Deemed to be University, chosen as the ‘Most Revered University in Eastern India’ by the Times of India, was honoured at the recently held Times Business Awards-2020.

The university’s Registrar Prof. Bibhuti Bhushan Pradhan received a plaque and a citation on behalf of the institution at the awards ceremony from Bollywood star Anil Kapoor.

SOA, as the university is known, is ranked 24th in the country by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) of the HRD Ministry. It has the faculties of engineering and technology, medical sciences, dental sciences, management, hospitality and tourism management, pharmaceutical sciences, nursing, legal studies and agricultural sciences.

Minister of State for Home Capt. Dibya Shankar Mishra, Chairman of Odisha Skill Development Authority Subroto Bagchi, Chief General Manager of State Bank of India (Odisha) Praveena Kala, Ollywood actress Archita Sahu and IPICOL Managing Director Nitin Jawale were guests on the occasion.
