SOA Organises Sports Training Camp For Students In Bhubaneswar

Bhubanewar: In order to promote involvement of students in sports activities, Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (SOA) Deemed to be University in Odisha capital organised a summer training camp.

Vice-chancellor of SOA Prof Pradipta Kumar Nanda inaugurated the 9-day camp at Sports Complex in SOA Campus-II.

During the camp, organised under the supervision of sports officer of SOA Sunita Verma, students of Class V to X will be imparted training on different sports including basketball, tennis and table tennis. The students will be trained by coaches Urvasi Mallik, Syed Hussain and Subrat Nayak.

Around 50 students of SOS Village and government and private schools in nearby areas are participating in the camp.

The participating students will be issued certificates on the concluding day of the camp on June 29.
