SOA professor invited to European conference at Paris

Bhubaneswar: Prof. Neeta Mohanty, Dean of the Institute of Dental Sciences (IDS) run by the SOA University here, recently presented a paper at the 5th European Conference on Clinical and Medical Case Reports at Paris.

Prof. Mohanty, who is also Head of the department of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology at the IDS, was invited to speak on the theme-“A complete visualization of health care in one place” her subject being rare lesions of the jaws with systemic involvement which had been wrongly diagnosed as common diseases of the tropics but were later diagnosed with special investigations and successfully treated at IDS and the SUM Hospital.

“This kind of platform provided recognition of case studies with advances in treatment therapies and minimization of adverse reactions to promote healthier life,” she said adding, “The use of medical case histories has been an important tool in advancing clinical knowledge and generating new research with novel diagnostic and therapeutic techniques.”
