Bhubaneswar: Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (SOA) Deemed to be University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bhubaneswar-based IMGENEX India Private Limited to promote collaborative research and development in industrial related research programmes.
The research programmes will involve SOA’s Centre for Industrial Biotechnology Research (CIBR) and IMGENEX India Private Limited, one of the leading biotechnology companies with a state-of-the-art Research and Development (R & D) facility operating at Infocity complex here.
SOA Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr) Pradipta Kumar Nanda and IMGENEX India Private Limited Founder and MD Dr Sujay Singh signed the MoU.
As per the agreement, IMGENEX and CIBR will apply for joint taskforce studies and projects for state, national and international grants.
IMGENEX, one of the largest producers of monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies in India, will periodically approach SOA for testing clinical trial of its diagnostic and therapeutic products with CIBR functioning as nodal agency for the MoU.
SOA and IMGENEX will jointly conduct refresher courses, orientation, internship and workshops on advanced topics or subjects related to public health emergency and subjects of research importance.
