Bhubaneswar: SOA student Akash Tiwary has been included as a member of an Indian youth delegation presently visiting China.
Akash is a student of engineering and technology at the Institute of Technical Education and Research (ITER) at the SOA Deemed to be University.
The delegation, which commenced its visit to the neighbouring country on Tuesday, has been sponsored by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, and will visit various places of China. It will return on July 9.
The programme was meant to promote people-to-people relationship through interaction.
Akash Tiwary is also a volunteer at Jaago, the social organisation of SOA. Through Jaago the students volunteered to teach children of nearby slums in their spare time. He is also a volunteer of SOA NSS.
