Mumbai: ‘Hero’ actor Sooraj Pancholi, who has been allegedly linked to Sushant Singh Rajput and Disha Salian’s death, on Saturday bid adieu to his Instagram account to stay away from negativity.
The actor deleted all posts from his Instagram account, except one that marked his 28th birthday, in 2018.
“See you Instagram! Hopefully will see you someday when the world is a better place. I need to breathe #Suffocated,” posted Sooraj on his Instagram stories today.
Earlier, during an interview with India Today, Sooraj had expressed that family members were worried about him after reports alleged his involvement in Sushant and Disha’s death.
“My mother thinks that I’m going to harm myself. And she has spoken to me a couple of times. Even after Sushant’s death, she told me, ‘Sooraj, whatever it is, if there’s anything in your heart please come and talk to us. Don’t be quiet.’ I’m not a very talkative person when it comes to my problems. I don’t discuss with my family because I know they’re stressed because of me,” the actor had said.
Talking about the tough time his family is going through right now, Sooraj’s father, actor Adiya Pancholi told Aaj Tak: “One foolish guy posted and all this major media picked it up and made it into an issue. This is not fair. Everyone has to be responsible, we had to go through so much pain.”
“I am not on social media but they are trolling Sooraj that he is a ‘murderer’. This is the reason he had to turn his comments off. What is this?” he added.
Sooraj’s mother Zarina Wahab also rubbished reports about his son’s affair with Disha, saying that Sooraj didn’t know Disha and had not organized any party before Sushant’s demise.
