South Superstars Allu Arjun, Prabhas, Donate Generously For Flood-Hit Andhra & Telangana

Hyderabad: Nature’s fury has left Telangana and Andhra Pradesh reeling.

Torrential rains and floods over the last one week have caused significant devastation and damage in the southern states.

With thousands of people being affected, both states have pulled out all stops to ensure adequate rescue and relief measures.

Superstars of the South film industry such as Allu Arjun, Prabhas, Chiranjeevi, Mahesh Babu, Jr NTR are doing their bit too, with contributions to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.

Allu donated Rs 1 crore towards relief efforts.

“I’m saddened by the loss and suffering caused by the devastating rains in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. In these challenging times, I humbly donate ₹1 crore in total to the CM Relief Funds of both states to support the relief efforts. Praying for everyone’s safety,” tweeted the ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ actor.

‘Kalki 2898 AD’ star Prabhas donated Rs 2 crore.

“Darling #Prabhas announced 2 Crores to Telugu states. 1 CR each to Telangana & Andhra Pradesh flood victims,” a film trade analyst posted on X.

Senior actor Chiranjeevi contributed Rs 1 crore, to be split equally between Chief Minister Relief Funds of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

Mahesh Babu showed his solidarity with flood-affected people with Rs 50 lakh donations each for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Lauding the government’s efforts. He urged people to help in the recovery effort.

Among other artists who made extended financial help are Jr NTR, Vishwak Sen and Siddhu Jonnalagadda.
