Khurda: The Khurda district SP, Ajay Pratap Swain, has tested positive for COVID-19.
The SP informed the media on Thursday that the swab samples of all staffers of the district police headquarters, including him, were taken for test recently after one of the personnel tested positive for the virus.

The swab test report received on Wednesday confirmed him as COVID-19 positive. The test report also revealed that he is asymptomatic.
Meanwhile, the Khurda district administration has advised the SP to remain in home isolation and if necessary, he will be shifted to the COVID Care Hospital in Bhubaneswar.
