The awards and rewards have started pouring for Mirabai Chanu after she won a silver medal at the Tokyo Olympics on Saturday.
Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh wasted no time in granting a Rs 1 crore cash reward for the first Indian to claim a silver in weightlifting. More such announcements are sure to follow.
But there were other interesting rewards too.
Domino’s India announced they will offer Mirabai lifetime free pizza.

Mirabai had told NDTV, in one of her interviews post the silver-winning performance how she craved for pizza.
“First of all, I will go and have a pizza. It has been a long time since I ate it. I will eat a lot today,” Mirabai had said.
Someone at Domino’s must have seen the interview and alerted his bosses. The company was quick to react and come up with this great offer.
Hotelier Prithvi Raj Chauhan announced another lifetime offer for Mirabai at Amar Kothi in Udaipur.
