Bhubaneswar: Eastern Railway on Thursday announced Puja Special trains between Sealdah in Kolkata and Odisha’s Puri to clear the extra rush of passengers during the ensuing festive season.
According to an official release, Sealdah-Puri Puja Special train will stop at Bhattanagar, Andul, Kharagpur, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur K. Road, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar and Khurda Road stations en route in both directions.
The bookings for Sealdah-Puri Puja Special train will be available on and from September 17 through the Post Passenger Reservation System (PRS) and internet.
A special charge in addition to the normal fare will be imposed for the puja special train. While concessional booking will not be allowed and Tatkal quota will not be available, it added.
