Ganjam: The Ganjam administration on Thursday banned the movement of vehicles in the district till July 31 to contain the spread of COVID-19.
However, those for the purpose of agriculture, goods, and health purposes will be allowed to ply. Two-wheelers with reliable ID-cards will be allowed.
Collector Vijay Amruta Kulange has requested people not to travel more than 1 km from their place and urged the senior citizens to stay at home.
With 14 deaths and 1041 recoveries, Ganjam has the highest number of 416 active cases.
