Bhubaneswar: The spot admission to Plus II, ITI and diploma courses in Odisha will be held through online from 2023-24 academic session.
According to a notification issued on Monday, changes have been made to SAMS (e-Admission) application on the direction of the Higher Secondary Education Directorate in this regard.
In order to facilitate online spot admission, the Directorate would inform the candidates through WhatsApp or SMS. The candidates who have not opted for e-Admission for the three courses will be issued information on their mobile phone numbers.
Necessary information regarding the candidates including Class X board name, year of passing, roll number and examination (Regular/Supplementary) must match with the SAMS database. The applicant will not be able to fill out or submit the CAF if there is a mismatch in the given data, the notification stated.
It may be noted that 96.4% of the candidates passed the Matriculation examinations whose results were announced by Board of Secondary Education on May 18.
