Bhubaneswar: After wrapping up shooting of his upcoming project SSMB 29 in Koraput, filmmaker SS Rajamouli went on a solo trek to Odisha’s highest peak, the Deomali trail.
While the filmmaker was stunned by the mesmerising beauty of the trail, he was also disheartened to see how citizens were ruining this beautiful site by littering.
Sharing a video of his solo expedition, Rajamouli wrote, “Had an amazing solo trek to Deomali, Odisha’s highest and most stunning peak. The view from the top was absolutely breathtaking.”
“However, it was disheartening to see the trail marred by litter. Such pristine wonders deserve better. A little civic sense can make a huge difference…Every visitor should carry back their waste to help protect these places (sic),” he added, urging people to take care of nature.

On Wednesday evening, the filmmaker was seen playing a game of volleyball with the locals.

SSMB 29 is likely to feature Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra and Prithviraj Sukumaran in key roles.
However, an official announcement about the project and the cast is yet to be made.
