Mumbai: A forensic team from AIIMS, Delhi submitted its report on Sushant Singh Rajput’s post-mortem and viscera reports to the CBI on Monday.
According to an India Today report, four doctors from the AIIMS team reached the CBI headquarters at 11 am to hand over the reports.
Sources said the AIIMS report is a “conclusive finding”; however, the CBI will take a final call after going through the evidence it has collected so far.
Vikas Singh, the lawyer representing Sushant’s family, had tweeted, “Getting frustrated by the delay in CBI taking a decision to convert abetment to suicide to murder of SSR. The doctor who is part of AIIMS team had told me long back that the photos sent by me indicated 200% that it’s death by strangulation and not suicide.”

However, Dr Sudhir Gupta, the head of the AIIMS forensic team, has said, “The CBI has not yet reached a conclusion. The final meeting is yet to be determined. No conclusive opinion could be formed just by looking at the photos. Our opinion is clear and will be decisive based on the evidence.”
