Bhubaneswar: The state government on Wednesday warned of stern action against those involved in assaulting some teachers managing quarantine centres in Ganjam and Balasore districts.
“It has come to my notice that some anti-social elements have brutally assaulted the teachers at the quarantine centres in Ganjam and Balasore districts,” School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash said. “The state government will not tolerate such incidents and initiate exemplary action against the culprits,” he minister added.
Dash also advised the teachers not to panic over such incidents and do their duty. “The Chief Minister has highly praised the sincerity and commitment of the teachers in the proper management of the quarantine centres,” he said.
