STF Of Odisha CB Seizes Brown Sugar Worth Rs 10 Lakh; Nabs Woman Peddler

Bhubaneswar: The special task force (STF) of Crime Branch on Tuesday seized 102 grams of brown sugar worth around Rs 10 lakh from Narayan Basti in Unit 8 area here.

An a tip-off , the STF along with Commissionerate Police raided the slum and arrested a woman peddler in this connection.

A case has been registered at Capital police station and further investigation is on.

It may be mentioned here that the STF had seized 1 kg 310 gm brown sugar worth Rs 1.5 crore following a raid in Khurda district.
