Bhubaneswar: Ahead of students’ union election, an aspirant candidate of Rajdhani College here was injured in a pre-poll violence on Saturday.
According to reports, Biswajit Swain, a +3 second year student, was allegedly thrashed by a group of non-students. He was later hospitalised.
The victim has lodged an FIR with Khandagiri police, alleging that a few non-students attacked him with sharp weapons and warned him against contesting the upcoming elections.
