Bhopal: In a daring crime, a student shot dead the principal of a school in Madhya Pradesh’s Chhatarpur.
The 55-year-old Surendra Kumar Saxena, headmaster of Dhamora Government Higher Secondary School, was found dead in the bathroom. He had been the principal of the government school for five years, reported NDTV.
According to eyewitnesses, the student followed Saxena into the bathroom and shot him in the head.
As panic gripped the staff and students in the school, the principal’s body was found in a pool of blood.
The accused, a class XII student, quickly escaped and fled on the principal’s two-wheeler.
According to Superintendent of Police Agam Jain, a second student fled with the shooter. Neither of them has been apprehended yet.
The obvious question was, how did the accused get the weapon and whose was it?
Also, what was the motive of the murder?
Police have begun a full-fledged investigation into the killing of the headmaster.
