Students of Bhubaneswar’s SAI Shower Love For India’s Tokyo Olympians

Bhubaneswar: In a touching and sweet gesture, students of SAI International School have come together to honour the athletes who will be representing India in the 32nd Olympic Games at Tokyo.

They have compiled a video where some students are seen waving the Tricolour while others play the keyboard, drums and guitar. The lead singer, whose face is painted in saffron, white and green, showers love and gratitude for the 119 sportspersons who will attempt to bring glory and medals for the country.

The Olympics, which were postponed last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, begin on July 23.

Odisha will be represented in athletics by ace sprinter Dutee Chand, in hockey by Birender Lakra, Amit Rohidas (men’s team), Deep Grace Ekka and Namita Toppo (women’s team) and para shuttler Pramod Bhagat.
