Students Of Bhubaneswar’s SOA Impress Recruiters In Bengaluru With All-Round Skills

Bhubaneswar: A group of engineering students from Siksha ‘O’ Anusadhan (SOA) Deemed to be University impressed a select audience of recruiters from 45 blue chip companies at Bengaluru recently.

A total of 62 invitees, drawn from HR and Talent Acquisition departments of the companies, attended the ‘SOA Proxima 2022’ programme. They not only appreciated the students’ knowledge involving world of technology, but also their performances in varied fields of art and culture.

The SOA team was headed by Pro-Chancellor Prof. (Dr) Amit Banerjee, Dean (Students’ Welfare) Prof. Jyoti Ranjan Das and Head, Industry Engagement, Ripti Ranjan Dash.

The students represented Institute of Technical Education and Research (ITER), SOA’s faculty of engineering and technology.

An Odissi presentation by Smruti Pragyan Biswal, Anisha Swain and Priyadarshini Parida provided a glimpse into Odisha’s traditional dance form, while Aishi Aich regaled the audience with a Bharat Natyam performance.

The audience also applauded Bhabesh Mishra’s magical tricks.

The programme facilitated a peek into SOA’s rich talent pool with the students excelling in their acquired knowledge on engineering and technology, as well as in extra-curricular activities.
