Speaking to media persons on the special idol, they said they have used a motor for movement of the idol with a sensor. “On the advice of our principal, we have come up with this innovative idea to celebrate the festival. Mostly the students of painter and electrician trade of the ITI have put their efforts to make the idol,” said a teacher of the institute.
On the technology and gadgets used in making of the idol, he said a server motor and a sensor have been built into it. If anybody approaches the idol, the sensor gets activated and the palm starts moving, he added.
Around 35 students were engaged in preparing the idol. It took them almost a week to complete the entire work.
