Students Of KIIT Collaborate With University of Washington To Develop Sustainable Business Solutions

Bhubaneswar: An 18-member delegation from the University of Washington-Bothell (UWB) is collaborating with KIIT management students to analyse real-world business challenges faced by a local business community and develop sustainable solutions.

Students of Bhubaneswar’s KIIT School of Management are jointly working with UWB delegation – which is currently on a 10-day visit to KIIT and KISS — to ensure that businesses benefit from data-backed recommendations and global best practices to make this collaboration a win-win for all stakeholders.

Seamless access to local data can enhance students’ ability to provide contextualised solutions.

The success of the UWB-KIIT partnership could lead to action by universities worldwide.

It encourages higher education institutions to move beyond traditional notions of exchange programmes and embrace collaborative teaching models that prioritise real-world problem solving.

The collaboration also demonstrates KIIT’s vision towards internationalisation of education as envisioned by its founder Dr Achyuta Samanta.
