Bhubaneswar: Wi-Fi service will be available for free at all colleges, universities and technical institutions across Odisha from academic session 2023-24, Higher Education Minister Rohit Pujari informed on Thursday.
“The students will get 1 GB of data. Electronics and Information Technology Department has been roped in for the purpose,” he said.
This is aimed at enhancing the quality of education at the institutions, he added.
This announcement came amid the annual review of performance of the Higher Education Department by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.
