Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Saturday announced that new applications for the Subhadra Yojana will be accepted from April 1 to 30.
To ensure greater inclusion of eligible beneficiaries under the scheme, new applications will be accepted through the Subhadra Portal for a period of one month from April 1, Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida said.
The scheme aims to expand inclusion and ensure that eligible women benefit from financial assistance, said Parida, who holds Women and Child Development portfolio.
Applicants must be between 21 and 60 years of age as of April 1, 2026. Each eligible beneficiary will receive Rs 10,000 annually, disbursed in two instalments during the financial year 2026-27.
Only women who have not applied earlier under Subhadra Yojana are eligible to register during this period. Applications from previous applicants will not be considered.
Registration will take place through the Subhadra Portal, accessible via Common Service Centres (CSC) or Ama Seva Kendras (ASK). Application forms will also be available free of cost at Anganwadi Centres (AWCs) and CDPO offices.
The government has made arrangements to ensure that no eligible woman is left out.
Officials said the scheme continues to act as a landmark initiative for women’s empowerment, strengthening financial security and participation in the state’s economic growth.
