Puri: Internationally acclaimed artist Sudarsan Pattnaik created a spectacular 25-foot-long sand art installation on Puri Beach on the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday, celebrating ‘25 Years of Seva’ to the Nation.
The artwork presents the Prime Minister in a namaste pose against a circular backdrop in the colours of the Indian tricolour. Surrounding the central sculpture are traditional motifs and the powerful message: “Aashirwad Ka Diya – 25 Years of Seva – Happy Birthday Modi Ji.”
“On the occasion of the birthday of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji. My special sand art at Puri Beach in Odisha, adorned with 2,500 diyas, carries the message: ‘Aashirwad Ka Diya – 25 Years of Seva – Happy Birthday Modi Ji.’ This heartfelt creation conveys my warm wishes and prayers on his birthday,” said Pattnaik while sharing the creation on X.
Meanwhile, two students of the Sudarsan Sand Art Institute, Monalisa Maharana and Sonali Aluk, also extended birthday greetings to the Prime Minister through sand animation.
The sand art and animation were presented as birthday tributes to PM Modi, marking his 76th birthday.
The sand sculpture has drawn appreciative crowds at the popular beach, adding a cultural and artistic touch to the nationwide celebrations marking the Prime Minister’s special day.
