Hyderabad: Tamil production house Sun Pictures dropped a special video featuring Rajinikanth ON Saturday to confirm its reunion with the superstar.
“Sun Pictures’ next Super Saga… Gear up for the explosive announcement… Stay Tuned!,” read the social media post.
The new video includes visuals from Sun Pictures’ popular productions, with the iconic ‘Super Star’ font towards its end.
This update has sparked rumours about the announcement of ‘Jailer 2.’

Rajini is already teaming up with Sun Pictures and director Lokesh Kanagaraj for the upcoming film ‘Coolie.’
Now, with the new video dropped online, it seems the legend is reuniting with the famous production banner for another movie.
However, Sun Pictures did not reveal details about their next project with Rajinikanth. But speculation is rife that the superstar will be seen in Sun Pictures ‘Jailer 2’ soon.
Earlier, there were reports that director Nelson Dilipkumar has shot a special announcement video and a poster of the ‘Jailer’ sequel featuring Rajinikanth in December 2024. The announcement was expected to made on Rajinikanth’s birthday, but was pushed back.
