Bhubaneswar: One of the COVID-19 patients from Sundargarh has been fully cured and will soon be discharged, tweeted the Health and Family Welfare Department on Wednesday.
With this, the number of recovered cases in the state rose to 19.
Two persons from Bisra area had tested positive for the virus on April 11. While one among them had attended the Tablighi Jamaat event in Delhi’s Nizamuddin, the other had contracted the infection after having come in contact with a Jamaat member.
It is indeed a pleasure to share that today we tested 1197 samples for COVID-19,
the highest so far.No new cases were found.
One positive case of Sundargarh has recovered from COVID-19 and will soon be discharged.
Our recovered cases now stand at 19.

The department further informed that a record 1197 samples were tested for COVID-19 on Wednesday and no new case was found. Odisha has so far reported 60 positive cases and one death.
