Bhubaneswar: It was an unforgettable night for Sunidhi Chauhan fans.
Thousands of boys and girls, faculty members and staff turned up at the KIIT campus on Thursday evening to watch Sunidhi’s performance.
‘Sunidhi Nite’ was organised as part of the ongoing KIIT Silver Jubilee Carnival that concludes on February 16.
The popular singer who has countless Bollywood hits to her name did not disappoint her fans on Thursday evening.
As her arrival was announced at the packed KIIT cricket stadium, the crowd went hysteric, chanting ‘Sunidhi… Sunidhi… Sunidhi’.
She began on a fiery note with ‘Kamli’, followed by several popular numbers like ‘Pyaar ki ek kahani’, ‘Sajna ji vaari vaari’, etc.
The singer was joined by Divyansh Kacholia aka DVK, who left the audience in awe with his mouth sound effects, as she supported Sunidhi who belted out one song after another.
Sunidhi struck an emotional chord with the audience when she fondly remembered late singer KK and the stage shows they did together. And when she crooned ‘Ishq Sufiana’, young fans joined her, holding up the mobile flashlights.
Dr Achyuta Samanta, Founder of KIIT & KISS, felicitated Sunidhi.
