Cuttack: The COVID-19 tally in the Millennium City touched 3869 on Thursday with 216 more people testing positive for the virus.
According to Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC), 74 are institutional quarantine, 67 home quarantine and 75 local contact cases.
Among the institutional quarantine cases, nine, including a COVID warrior, are from the isolation ward of SCB Medical and Hospital here.
The home quarantine cases include nine from Hairanpur, eight from CDA Sector 11 and five from CDA Sector 9.
Four more cases have been reported from Begera Sahi, Malgodown, and another four from Bidyadhapur.
Among the local contact cases, 14 are from Talatelenga Bazaar and eight from Jagatpur.
The CMC also informed about 56 more patients recovering from the infection.
