Sushant Singh Rajput Case: CBI Team Lands In Mumbai, To Start Investigation Tonight

Mumbai: The Central Bureau Of Investigation (CBI) team landed in Mumbai on Thursday evening to investigate the Sushant Singh Rajput case.

According to a Times Now report, the CBI officials will be putting up at Air Force guest house near the airport to ensure there is no snooping during the investigation.

A lady officer from the team will be questioning Rhea Chakraborty, who is an accused in the case.

The team will also question the DCP of Zone 9, Bandra, whom the late actor’s family had approached in February 2020.

The investigating team will be re-examining the 56 people whose statements had been recorded by Mumbai police.

The team will start gathering evidence from Thursday night and the electronic gadgets seized by the ED department will also be looked into.

The CBI sleuths will reportedly visit Sushant’s Bandra residence on Friday to recreate the crime scene.

After a tussle between the Bihar and Mumbai police over the investigation jurisdiction in the case, the Supreme Court on Wednesday directed the CBI to take charge of the mysterious case.
