Sushant Singh Rajput Case: Who Is Farooq Batata?

Mumbai: Farooq Batata. This is the name of the drug kingpin allegedly supplying drugs to some actors and producers in Bollywood.

In the latest news, Times Now claims to have first-hand information from a police informer confirming Batata’s role. Times Now also reported that it possesses the video of a 2019 party in Mumbai’s Khushi Bar in which Batata was present along with Bollywood luminaries and politicians and blew up lakhs of rupees.

The whistleblower also told Times Now that Batata became active in the drugs business only after 2014. “Before that, he did not even have the money to pay an autorickshaw,” he said.
