Mumbai: Sushant Singh Rajput’s flatmate Siddharth Pithani told the CBI that the actor ‘fainted’ after hearing about Disha Salian’s death on June 8, reported Republic TV.
According to Pathani’s statement accessed by the news channel, Susant “feared for his life” and “wanted his security to be enhanced”.
His testimony indicates a possible link between the death of Sushant and Disha. The actor, perhaps, knew details about June 8 when Disha fell to her death from a Malad highrise, the report said.
Disha was working with Bunty Sajdeh’s talent management company Cornerstone, which also managed the actor.
Pithani had also admitted to the investigating agency that Sushant was worried because Rhea Chakraborty had left his residence on that very day with his laptop and hard drives.
The actor was found hanging at his Bandra house on June 14 afternoon.
The CBI, which is currently investigating Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, has also summoned people linked to Disha’s alleged suicide for interrogation, the news channel added.
