Sushant Singh Rajput’s Death: Forensic Team Collects Evidence From Actor’s Bandra Residence
Mumbai: After Sushant’s Singh Rajput’s family alleged foul play and demanded a probe into the actor’s death, a team of forensic experts reached his Bandra residence on Monday afternoon to collect evidence.
Earlier, the mortal remains of the actor were sent for an autopsy to Dr RN Cooper Municipal General Hospital, and the provisional post-mortem report attributed the death to asphyxia due to hanging.
The actor’s untimely demise has left his family members and fans shocked and shaken.
Suspecting foul play, Sushant’s brother-in-law, who is the ADG of Haryana, had demanded an investigation.
Even the actor’s maternal uncle had stated that Sushant was not a person to commit suicide and wanted a probe in his death.
The 34-year old was found hanging at his residence on June 14.
Confirming the news, Additional Commissioner of Police Dr Manoj Sharma said, “Actor Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide at his Bandra residence by hanging himself in Mumbai on Sunday.”
