Mumbai: The untimely demise of Bollywood’s promising actor Sushant Singh Rajput has left his family members and fans grief-stricken.
While people are still contemplating the reason behind the actor’s drastic step of hanging himself to death, Sushant’s brother-in-law O.P. Singh, who is the Additional Director General of Police in Haryana, suspects foul play in his death.
Unconvinced by the fact that the actor can commit suicide, his police-officer brother-in-law is seeking a thorough investigation in the case.
Singh left for Mumbai as soon as he heard the news of Sushant’s death, said state officials.
Earlier, Jan Adhikar Party Chief Pappu Yadav too demanded a CBI probe into the actor’s death case.
“Sushant Singh Rajput has been murdered, he cannot commit suicide. I demand a CBI inquiry into the matter,” said Yadav after visiting Sushant’s family in Patna.
Sushant’s brother-in-law, Om Prakash Singh is a 1983 batch IPS officer of Uttar Pradesh cadre. He was the Director-General of Uttar Pradesh Police and had previously served as the Director-General of CISF and Director General of NDRF.
