Mumbai: ‘Dil Bechara’, the much awaited last film of Sushant Singh Rajput, has finally hit the digital platform on Friday.
The movie started streaming live from 7.30 pm on Disney+ HotStar on July 24.
Many Bollywood celebrities including Sara Ali Khan, Anushka Sharma, Ankita Lokhande and Anupam Kher took to the social media platform to send their best wishes for the ‘Dil Bechara’ team.
Ankita wrote, “From #pavitrarishta to #dilbechara One last time !!!”
“Dear Sushant Singh Rajput! Today your film Dil Bechara is going to be released. You are not with us in the physical world and we will always be sad about this, but we will see your film with all our hearts and tears will flow from every eye. We miss you. Love. Anupam,” wrote Anupam Kher.
Arjun Rampal shared the poster of the film on Instagram and wrote, “It’s gonna be hard watching this one. But yet can’t wait to see it. All the love to the whole team of #dilbechara.”
Remembering her co-star, Sanjana Sanghi posted, “My Manny, I hope you’re looking over us, blessing us, and smiling upon us as we are, looking up at you, searching for you, in equal parts awe and disbelief. As @castingchhabra so correctly said, how could both our debut films ever be his last? Life is just not fair.”
Just ahead of the movie’s release, Sushant’s fans started trending #DilBecharaDay on Twitter.
Fans also appealed netizens not to share any video clips of the movie on social media platforms and urged everyone to register themselves on Disney+ HotStar to watch the movie online.
Helmed by Mukesh Chabbra, ‘Dil Bechara’ stars Sushant Singh Rajput and newcomer Sanjana Sanghi in lead roles. The film is an adaptation of popular Hollywood movie ‘The Fault in Our Stars’.
