Bhubaneswar: Monday saw 12 more persons testing positive for H1N1 virus, taking the total number of swine flu cases in the state to 46.
Among the 12 cases, eight were reported from Khurda, two from Cuttack and one each from Sambalpur and Sundargarh districts. The swab samples were tested in seven hospitals in the twin cities.
The first swine flu death of this season was reported from the state capital on Saturday.
The State government had earlier directed government as well as privately-run hospitals to set up special wards to treat the infected persons.
