Mumbai: Bollywood actor Taapsee Pannu has reportedly tied the nuptial knot with her longtime boyfriend Mathias Boe in a private ceremony in Udaipur.
The couple got married in the presence of close family and friends on March 23, the News 18 reported.
“The wedding took place in Udaipur and was an extremely intimate affair. The pre-wedding festivities kick-started on March 20. The couple was very sure that they didn’t want any media attention on their big day. Both of them are known to be very private and reserved people and they wouldn’t have had it any other way,” according to the portal’s source.
The source further said that Anurag Kashyap were among the few celebrities from the film industry, who attended the ceremony. “Taapsee’s Dobaaraa and Thappad co-star Pavail Gulati joined the guests at her and Mathais’ wedding. Anurag Kashyap, who shares a rather close bond with Taapsee and has directed her in films like Manmarziyaan and Dobaara and produced Saand Ki Aankh also flew to Udaipur.”
Kanika Dhillon, who has closely worked with Taapsee on Haseen Dillruba, Manmarziyaan, Dunki, and Phir Aayi Haseen Dillruba as a writer, and her husband Himanshu Sharma were a part of their big day as well.
Interestingly, two days ago, Kanika shared a series of pictures on her Instagram where she was seen wearing a pastel ensemble. One of the hashtags in the caption read ‘#MereYaarKiShaadi’. The pictures are apparently from Taapsee and Mathias’ wedding.
Earlier, the Pink actor refused to comment on reports of her marriage with the Olympic medallist Boe. Taapsee was last seen with Shah Rukh Khan in Rajkumar Hirani’s social comedy Dunki.
