Mumbai: Several websites and social media handles recently carried reports about Tabu’s views on marriage, along with quotes which were attributed to the actress.
However, Tabu’s team has now come forward to state that the quotes attributed to the actress were fabricated and there’s no truth in those reports.
“There are several websites and social media handles that have falsely attributed certain undignified statements to Tabu. We would like to clarify that she never made these quotes, and it is a serious breach of ethics to mislead the audience,” Tabu’s team said in a statement.
The actress’ team also demanded an apology.
“We demand that these websites remove the fabricated quotes immediately and issue a formal apology for their actions,” the statement added.
On the work front, Tabu is currently shooting for ‘Bhooth Bangla’ along with Akshay Kumar.
Akshay and Tabu have reunited for this film after 25 years. The actors were last seen together in ‘Hera Pheri’.

Tabu was last seen in the web series ‘Dune: Prophecy’ as Sister Francesca.
