Tata Launches Another Electric Car In India

Mumbai: Tata Motors is on an electrifying spree. The company on Wednesday launched a version of the Tigor known as XPRES-T. This electric sedan is meant for the fleet market.

It comes in two battery pack size options — 16.5 kWh and 21.5 kWh. The former offers an ARAI certified range of 165 km and th

e latter does 214 km on full charge. It takes 90 minutes and 110 minutes, respectively, to recharge till 80 per cent using a fast charger.

The new car has a black interior with blue accents and is limited in features having just automatic climate control, ABS with EBD and dual airbags.

It is priced (ex-showroom) as follows:

Xpres-T 165

XM – Rs. 9.54 lakh
XZ – Rs. 10.04 lakh

Xpres-T 213

XM+ – Rs. 10.14 lakh
XZ+ – Rs. 10.64 lakh
