Tata Launches Another Electric Car In India

Mumbai: Tata Motors is on an electrifying spree. The company on Wednesday launched a version of the Tigor known as XPRES-T. This electric sedan is meant for the fleet market.

It comes in two battery pack size options — 16.5 kWh and 21.5 kWh. The former offers an ARAI certified range of 165 km and the latter does 214 km on full charge. It takes 90 minutes and 110 minutes, respectively, to recharge till 80 per cent using a fast charger.

The new car has a black interior with blue accents and is limited in features having just automatic climate control, ABS with EBD and dual airbags.

It is priced (ex-showroom) as follows:

Xpres-T 165

XM – Rs. 9.54 lakh
XZ – Rs. 10.04 lakh

Xpres-T 213

XM+ – Rs. 10.14 lakh
XZ+ – Rs. 10.64 lakh
