Bengaluru: A teenage girl was aghast to find intimate videos of her father and his alleged lover while using his phone for online classes.
The girl told her mother about it who has demanded a separation.
Police and other women organisations of Mandya district are trying to resolve the dispute but cannot take legal action as adultery has been decriminalised. However, the man can be charged under the IT Act 2000 if he is found to have shot the video without consent and has forwarded it to others.
The couple has been married for 18 years and has two children aged 15 and 17.
The woman in the video is believed to be a relative.
