While Angul recorded the minimum night temperature at 10.2 degree Celsius, the mercury remained under 15 degree Celsius in Jharsuguda (14.4), Keonjhar (12.6), Sambalpur (13.6), Sundargarh (12), Talcher (13.7), Bhawanipatna (14), Balangir (14.5), Koraput (12.6), Phulbani (12), Titlagarh (10.5), Sonepur (14.4), Daringibadi (11.5) and Nayagarh (12).
The night temperature in the twin cities of Cuttack and Bhubaneswar was 15.2 and 16.7 degree Celsius, respectively.
“As the cyclonic circulation over south Chhattisgarh and neighbourhood has weakened further, the weather in Odisha will remain dry till next week with a fall in the night and day temperatures by 1-3 degree Celsius and 2-4 degree Celsius, respectively, during the next 48 hours,” the Thursday morning weather bulletin said.
It also said that due to the presence of moisture, there will be dense fog at one or two places over the districts of Khurda, Puri, Jagatsinghpur, Ganjam, Kandhamal and Kalahandi on Friday and Kalahandi, Kandhamal and Balangir on Saturday.
