Berhampur: Berhampur Municipal Corporation (BeMC) on Tuesday removed the structures constructed by encroaching government land in Khalasi Sahi near Ramlingam Park in the city.
The anti-encroachment squad of BeMC carried out the demolition drive in order to create space for widening the road. They also demolished a decade-old Trinath temple.
Enforcement Officer BeMC Tarun Kanta led the anti-encroachment drive with heavy deployment of police force to prevent any untoward incident.
