Bhubaneswar: Three students of Maharishi College of Natural Law in Bhubaneswar were injured, one of them critically, after being attacked by a group 10-15 outsiders on the campus over alleged past enmity on Monday afternoon.
The critically hurt Plus-II first-year student has been admitted to Capital Hospital, sources said.
An injured student told the media that 10 to 15 miscreants entered the campus with iron rod and wooden planks. They then dragged the students out of the campus and assaulted them. “This was the fallout of Friday incident, when some students had complained against non students entering the campus. One among them was a Plus III student of the college,” he added.
The security personnel posted on the campus reportedly ran for their life on seeing the miscreants armed with weapons, the sources added.
On being informed, Saheed Nagar police have reached the spot and began an investigation.
