Terror Attack On Police Bus Kills 3, Injures 11 Near Srinagar

Srinagar: Two terrorists attacked a police bus and killed three Jammu and Kashmir police personnel and injured 11 near a police camp at Zewan on the outskirts of Srinagar on Monday evening, cops said.

While 2 policemen succumbed to the bullet shots last night only, one died on Tuesday morning.

One of the deceased was an assistant sub-inspector and another a section grade constable. The injured cops have been shifted to the hospital where some are admitted in critical condition.

Terrorists opened heavy firing on the bus in the highly secure location that has camps of various security forces. The incident happened in the Zewan area.

Police have cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to track down the terrorists.
