New York: The Cybertruck blast in Las Vegas was ‘not related’ to the vehicle and a ‘bomb’ or large quantities of ‘fireworks’ placed inside it was responsible for the explosion, claimed Tesla chief Elon Musk on Thursday (Jan 2).
“We have now confirmed that the explosion was caused by very large fireworks and/or a bomb carried in the bed of the rented Cybertruck and is unrelated to the vehicle itself. All vehicle telemetry was positive at the time of the explosion,” Musk wrote in a post on X.

A day before, the Tesla Cybertruck burst in flames outside the Trump International Hotel Las Vegas, leading to the death of one person and injuring seven. According to anonymous officials quoted in various reports, the FBI was investigating whether the blast was an act of terrorism.
The evil knuckleheads picked the wrong vehicle for a terrorist attack. Cybertruck actually contained the explosion and directed the blast upwards.

This happened barely few hours after a man drove a truck into crowds of New Year’s Day revelers in New Orleans, killing 15. The Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas is part of the Trump Organization, which belongs to President-elect Donald Trump.
Earlier, Musk claimed Tesla’s senior team was investigating the incident. “We’ve never seen anything like this,” he had said.
