Mumbai: ‘Sikandar’ star Salman Khan, who recently attended nephew Ayaan Agnihotri’s new single ‘Universal Laws’ launch in Dubai, spoke about nepotism in the industry.
When host Kris Fade appreciated the actor and his family for supporting Ayaan, Salman quipped, “That’s what nepotism is!”
The actor’s light-hearted response left the audience and his nephew in splits.
Salman added, “His (Ayaan) parents, good producers. Both the kids, Alizeh and Ayaan.”
Besides Salman, among other celebs who attended the event were Arbaaz Khan, Sohail Khan, Neha Dhupia, and Angad Bedi.
A video from the event, shared on social media, showed the audience cheering the actor and his nephew at the song launch event.

Earlier, Salman and Ayaan showcased their musical partnership by collaborating on the song ‘You Are Mine.’ Composed by Vishal Mishra, the song was well received by fans.
Ayaan is the son of Salman’s sister Alvira Khan Agnihotri and filmmaker Atul Agnihotri.
On the work front, Salman will next be seen in the high-octane action drama ‘Sikandar’, which also features Rashmika Mandanna.
Directed by AR Murugadoss, the film is set to hit theatres on Eid 2025.
